The night of October 9, 2021, was a fun-filled in-person event to celebrate the Boys & Girls Club of Pasadena, the kids we serve, and our friends and supporters. Along with Italian-inspired entertainment, we feasted on Habit Burger meals, held live and online silent auctions, drew the winner of the Wine Wagon raffle, and offered opportunities to support the Club and the kids we serve.
On this special night, we raised over $245,000 for life-changing programs for kids and teens in the greater Pasadena community. We deeply appreciate all those who continue to support this event year after year, and those of you who attended for the first time. The Club is needed now more than ever, as the Club is helping kids recover academic ground lost during the school closures, recharge with their favorite physical activities, and rebuild their college and career pathways towards Great Futures.
Black Tie & Burgers was held this year in the backyard of a lovely historic Pasadena home. The Club monitored public health guidance very closely to ensure the health and safety of all guests.
Very special thanks to the Black Tie & Burgers Committee, and its chair, Melina Montoya, for planning this extra-special Black Tie & Burgers!
Black Tie & Burgers 2021 Schedule:
October 1 at 5pm: Silent Auction opened on GiveSmart
October 9: Black Tie & Burgers! Our program was as follows:
- 6:00 pm: Cocktail Hour Reception, Silent Auction, and Wine Wagon Raffle Ticket Sales
- 7:15 pm: Dinner, Keynote Speakers, Live Auction, Opportunities to support the Club, Wine Wagon Raffle
- 8:30 pm: Silent Auction closed; Dancing under the Stars

We are once again holding the ever-popular Wine Wagon Raffle on the evening of October 9, 2021 at Black Tie & Burgers! The Wine Wagon is a carefully curated collection of 24 premium white and red wines from around the world.
Tickets are available for sale now by contacting Sara Langley at [email protected]. Tickets will also be available for purchase during Black Tie & Burgers until we sell out. The winner does not need to be present at Black Tie & Burgers, but does need to be available within the week after the event to coordinate pick up of the Wine Wagon.
Tickets are $100 each, and only 100 tickets will be sold. Purchase your tickets today before we sell out!
